On Wednesday 1^st June 2022, girls across all year levels attended the knockout netball carnival at the Port Pirie netball courts. Every age group played four games, each with one bye. The year 7-8 won 3 out of 4 of their games, almost winning their last game against Saint Marks but just missing out on the chance to move on to the competition in Adelaide. The year 9-10 won 2 out of 4 of their games while, unfortunately, the open team lost all their games. Despite a few losses, it was a great time and a fun day for all. Saint Marks won overall in all age groups, but Gladstone High School gave them a run for their money. At the end of the day, we all celebrated together and went to Maccas. Thank you to everyone who came out and supported us, to all the girls that participated and to Miss Edge for organising and coaching, as well as Sara Treasure and Mrs Davis for coaching.
