Again we have had a hectic week and next week is set to be the same. Hopefully the holidays will provide a good chance for everybody to recharge and return next term, fit and healthy. School will be dismissed at 2.15pm next Friday and buses will all run 1 hour earlier.

This week the year 12 students have ventured to Port Hughes for retreat. This is a good chance for them to review their current progress, revise their goals and take some time out to relax with each other.

In some advance notice, on Monday morning, we will be hosting students from Jamestown to view a mock crash organised by SAPOL with the involvement of multiple Emergency Services. It will involve only year 10 -12 students, but there will be sirens and a crash scene near to the school, so other students will no doubt be aware of the attendance of these services.

We have noticed an increasing number of jumpers being left on the courts and in the stadium. They are stored in the front office as lost property, so if you are missing one of these, please send your students to the front office to look for them. A name on the jumpers certainly helps us to reunite them with their rightful owner. Governing Council will be reviewing the uniform dress code at the next meeting, so I encourage you to talk to one of the Governing Council members or ask your child to talk to one of the student leaders if they have any suggestions for changes.
